Recycling Prisma Markers

So you got a bunch of dead and dying prisma markers and your a cheap SOB. Don't feel bad I am the same way cool thing I founf out that prismacolor markers are great for a cheap marker husk.

Next you will notice the well used marker had a lil wear away point on the label that is your seam. You want to drag an exacto blade around the paper just enough pressure to score the paper not cut the plastic.

Notice the easy to pop off parts now.

Pull the ink felt out notice it still has red ink, great thing about this ink, even with rubbing alcohol, the ink comes out.

get you some Rubbing Alcohol and pour a bit into a glass.

The Alcohol will naturally be sucked into the felt, cause the ink to be pushed forward. At this time you can bleed it off on a paper towel or collect it for future mixtures.

After a good 15 to 30 mins of playing with your Felt will be clean, let dry for 2 days *rubbing Alcohol naturally evaporates* Then it is ready to be refilled.
